Eustis boasts a quiet atmosphere with idyllic views. Ferran Park, located on the shores of Lake Eustis is home to many events throughout the year including the WestMUTTster Dog Show that benefits the Humane Society of Lake County.

Parched from walking around Ferran Park? Look no further than popular hangout, Wolf Branch Brewing. The brewery is located on Bay Street right in the heart of downtown. Whether you enjoy saisons, stouts, ales or IPAs, there’s a craft beer at Wolf Branch for you.

Eustis is also home to the Bay Street Players, a local theatre group as well as the Trout Lake Nature Center. The nature center has resident turtles and snakes that they introduce to visitors along with other educational materials to learn about wildlife and nature in the area.

When the hunger pangs strike, check out one of the many hot spots for food. Tillie’s Tavern and Grill on Magnolia Avenue features American Pub-style grub like wings, sandwiches and burgers.  Or venture over to Fish Camp on Lake Eustis and enjoy your meal with a beautiful view of the lake. Their specialities include fresh local seafood dishes and they have daily chef’s specials so be sure to check them out online.

Fun fact: This city is probably most well-known for their Georgefest parade that honors America’s first president, George Washington. The event happens every February and is the longest running festival in Florida – since 1902 – that celebrates our first president.

This town makes up part of the “Golden Triangle” – along with Mount Dora and Tavares. The three geographically close cities are easy to navigate so it’s easy to jump from one to the other. Perhaps you visit Mount Dora for the Mount Dora Craft Fair, then head over to the Tavares Dog House for lunch and finish off your day with a beer at Wolf Branch Brewing in Eustis and a walk through Ferran Park. The three cities have lots of things to do while maintaining the feel of a small town. That’s why it’s such a great area to call home.
