This town is home to Via Entertainment, a one-stop hub for fun. Among the offerings are the arcade, bowling, axe throwing, go-karts, escape rooms and laser tag. You can also stop by Pat Thomas stadium and catch a Leesburg Lightning game.
Just west of the “Golden Triangle”, it’s just a short drive to Tavares, Eustis or Mount Dora.
Like its central Florida neighbors, this bustling city is also home to many festivals throughout the year. A popular one is the Leesburg Art Festival held by the Leesburg Center for the Arts, however, the largest festival (by far) is the Leesburg Bikefest. The three-day event draws bikers, and motorcycle enthusiasts from all over.
Because of its centralized location, this city is a hub for commerce, bringing tens of thousands of people to the city everyday for work.
Fun Fact: this town is also known for the Mote-Morris house, a Victorian gem built back in 1892. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in the 1970s. The house is open for self-guided tours throughout the week.
